We present a collage of photographs taken approximately sixty years ago, preserved within the “space of one’s own past” of the first edition of the book “Travel Guide” of Bosnia and Herzegovina, printed in 1954. Indeed, motivated by the idea that this theme (article) would be our and your domain of memories, using photographs as a kind of time capsule to bring the past back and remind us of the people and portraits of the cities from that era.
Through the reinterpretation of photographs of cities, rivers, mountains, and traditional costumes, we present a kind of portrait of our beautiful Bosnia and Herzegovina, interconnected by the space of our own past and the meaning of its present.
Let the memories be faint, but suggestive and recognizable, while for others, without reading the title of the image, they will only become visible after loading personal memories, and for the other visitors, fleeing from the busy everyday life, they will represent a kind of search for some distant romantic times.
