On the narrow-gauge railway line, 0.76 meters wide, Prijedor – Lika Kaldrma, which is 195 kilometers long, a total of 6 (six) tunnels have been built. All six tunnels are located between Bosansko Vrpolje (Vrhpolje) station and Sanica Donja station. The first tunnel, in terms of rail stationing, is at 44+221 km, while the last ends at km 47+920. Essentially, all six tunnels are within less than 4 kilometers.
Tunnels, along with the track, were constructed at the end of 1914. Their maintenance was carried out by ZOP Drvar Section No. 13. According to data from the technical booklet for this railway line, in the “Dangerous Places” table, it states: “All tunnels lack free profiles and intrude up to 50 cm into the same.” The longest is tunnel No. 3, measuring 293 meters, and the shortest are tunnels Nos. 5 and 6, with only 3.5 meters each. The tunnel heights range from 4.00 to 5.20 meters. Their use ceased with the abolition of the Prijedor – Drvar railway line on June 1, 1975.
