In short

Srećko Ignjatović, from Semizovac near Sarajevo, is a man whose life and professional story are inseparably linked to the railway. He spent more than 40 years in the railway sector, working from 1978 to 2018. Although he did not have the opportunity to study at a university, his passion for the history of railways in Bosnia and Herzegovina made up for the lack of formal education through decades of independent research, collecting materials, and field work.
